Gratitude: This Thanksgiving and Beyond
As we gather with our families and loved ones this week, it can be a natural reminder for us to pause with gratitude for the many blessings in our lives. In healthcare, we are at a unique intersection of the Human Experience- we are both the patients and the caregivers. At various times in our lives, we are caring for or being cared for.
We don’t have to look far in healthcare to see absolute inspiration – the heroics of team members across the country being there for a patient terrified by chest pains to those who acted so selflessly in Las Vegas and Northern California and who, above all else, put the patient at the center.
In the healthcare profession, we have a reputation for being “all giving,” and it is all too easy to lose sights of our gifts given the demands of our daily grinds. Every physician, nurse, employee, and administrator who wears a badge is irreplaceable to assure we live our missions 24/7 across the continuum of care.
At the Healthcare Experience Foundation, we are pausing this Thanksgiving to share our deepest gratitude for you. Through your hands (whether you are clinical, non-clinical, administrative, or in a support role) your talents and compassion make our communities safer, more compassionate, and healthier.
We are profoundly honored to serve you in your quests to create environments where every person is worthy of an environment where they can deliver and receive the best healthcare experience. Thank you. We are thankful for you!
