About This Event
The DEI Foundations Certificate is a two half-day virtual cohort session designed to equip leaders, staff, clinicians, and physicians with knowledge, strategies to interpersonally grow and meet the demands of today’s healthcare environment. This live virtual event will take place on April 25th (day one) and April 26th (day 2), each session, from 12pm-4pm EST; 11am-3pm CST; 10am-2pm MT; 9am-1pm PST for a total of 8 hours of learning during the two days.
> Recognize and understand the baseline concepts of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
> Apply cultural humility practices to create better patient care and interpersonal team relationships.
> Describe practices for inclusive environments and strategies to combat incivility.
> Explore and apply principles of inclusive leadership.
*6 Patient Experience Continuing Education Credits (PXE’s) will be offered for
certification completion.
