Jim joins the Healthcare Experience Foundation team with an extensive background in facilitating change in healthcare organizations across the continuum of care. He is a talented senior leader with a 20-year background in healthcare consulting, creative developer of educational content and delivers engaging workshops to advance the mission of person-centered care.

Applying his focus on person-centered care, equity, and honoring individuals’ preferences, Jim is actively transforming healthcare organizations of all sizes around the globe. Jim easily engages people in their journey combining their devotion with the importance of their work. He is a skilled content development professional who applies his personal touch when designing workshops, presentations, and educational materials to engage staff across a multitude of healthcare areas and initiatives.

Jim is passionate about many topics, including: Reducing Healthcare Bias, Health Equity, Inclusive and Compassionate Leadership, Compassionate Human Interactions, Organizational Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and many more. He is an accomplished author and has contributed to a number of publications, such as: ‘Long-Term Care Improvement Guide’, ‘Managing the Long-Term Care Facility: Practical Approaches to Providing Quality Care’ and coming out in the Fall of 2024, ‘Managing the Long-Term Care Facility: Practical Approaches to Providing Quality Care’, John Wiley and Sons · Second Edition.

Jim lives with two adult sons and one cat who rules the house! He enjoys theatre, movies, and reading and is an avid TV binge-streamer. We are honored to have Jim on our Healthcare Experience Foundation team.
